Will My Cards Be Inserted into the Envelopes?

It depends on the envelope service you choose. The key factor is whether postage (a stamp) is applied to the envelope.

When Are Cards Inserted into Envelopes?

Cards are inserted into envelopes whenever you select an option that includes postage/stamping.

This includes:

  • Address + Ship Back to Me: Addressing + Stamp
  • Address + Mail For Me: Stamp + Mailing

Address + Ship Back to Me: Addressing + Stamp

When you select Addressing + Stamp under the Address + Ship Back to Me service:

  • Recipient addresses are printed on the envelopes
  • Postage is applied
  • Cards are inserted into the envelopes
  • Envelopes are not sealed
  • The completed order is shipped back to you

This option is ideal if you'd like us to handle the addressing and insertion process while still giving you the opportunity to review or personally distribute the cards before mailing.

Address + Mail For Me: Stamp + Mailing

When you select Stamp + Mailing under the Address + Mail For Me service:

  • Recipient addresses are printed on the envelopes
  • Postage is applied
  • Cards are inserted into the envelopes
  • Envelopes are prepared for mailing
  • The mailpieces are sent directly to your recipients

When Are Cards NOT Inserted?

If the envelope service does not include postage, cards are not inserted into the envelopes.

This includes:

  • Address + Ship Back to Me: Front Addressing
  • Other envelope printing options without stamps
  • Orders with plain envelopes

For these options, the cards and envelopes are packaged separately and shipped to you.

Do You Offer Card Insertion as a Separate Service?

No. Card insertion is not available as a standalone service or optional add-on.

Insertion is only performed when an envelope service includes the application of postage.

Helpful Tip

If you'd like your cards inserted into envelopes before delivery, select an option that includes Addressing + Stamp or Stamp + Mailing. If no postage is applied, the cards and envelopes will be shipped separately.
