Laser-cut cards represent an investment of money AND time: you'll see some complain about the labor of using glue-dots to put them together. For me, most Christmas projects are a labor of love: if you're the same, these cards are both sophisticated and rustic at the same time -- and absolutely worth the effort. My past experience with similar cards from CardsDirect suggests recipients truly appreciate the feeling a card like this evokes. One caution, however: make sure you order a few more than you think you'll need. If you come up short, CardsDirect will only sell you a minimum re-order of 25 laser-cut cards. At this price-point, I cannot afford to buy cards I know I won't use! ('hoping they change their policy)

When I first opened the box of Laser Forest Holiday Cards I'll admit that I was a bit confused when I spotted glue dots in the box. It then became clear that after carefully folding (with a ruler) the brown portion of the card, I needed to add two glue spots to the back of the navy blue inside portion and then attach it to the center of the outer layer. It wasn't difficult, but it was time consuming for my 150 cards. The effort was well worth it - as the cards are quite stunning! I received dozens and dozens of compliments for this year's wonderful choice. Cards Direct offer a fantastic collection of choices and are the most reliable service I've ever used.
