The silver snowflake is just as pretty as in the picture, and the texture of the red paper compliments it well. But... the sheen of the silver is a little overwhelming, because not only is the snowflake silver foil, the dots of the swirls and the trim of the rectangular opening are as well. (it made me want to squint a bit to keep looking at the cover...) This being said, I absolutely do not regret chosing this card! Shininess aside, its a beautiful card and received compliments while being signed :)
