This snowflake card is all about shimmer. The embossed central snowflake rests on a field of blue, surrounded by a holographic silver foil border. The same foil is used to accent all the snowflakes and greeting, creating a prismatic effect when the card is held to the light. In addition, the card’s pearlescent finish provides a snowy backdrop. These cards really do shimmer. The only problem was that the blue ink sometimes bled onto the card above it. If the company could place a piece of tissue paper between the decorative parts of the card, that would probably no longer be an issue.
