No TagsHoliday Cards have graced the mantles and doorways of homes for many years now. Cards travel many miles each year as friends and family wish one another a Merry Christmas and Season’s Greetings. The tradition of sending Christmas cards actually dates back to 1843 when the first Christmas and New Years cards were designed in London, England by John Callcott Horsley. This card was a depiction of a family raising their glasses to toast in Christmas and the New Year. As we progress with technology and digital communication this is one tradition that never changes. Sending holiday cards has been adopted as a part of our culture and will continue on through many more generations to come.
