Want to make your holiday cards extra special? Why not have them postmarked from the North Pole!
This is what you do—
Address each envelope as usual, including your return address. Put a first class stamp on each as well. Then, box them all up, add appropriate postage, and send them to:
North Pole Holiday Postmark
Postmaster
4141 Postmark Dr.
Anchorage, AK 99530-9998
Each individual card will then be mailed from Alaska with a North Pole postmark on them!
Letters must be received in Anchorage before December 15.

North Pole, Alaska may be the most popular holiday related postmark but there are others. Just do the same as above but send your combined cards to the attention of “Christmas Re-Mailing” to one of these possible post offices:
Bethlehem, CT 06751
Blessing, TX 77419
Christmas, FL 32709
Holly, CO 81047

Add some fun to your holiday cards and don’t forget to use those holiday first class stamps! There are other holiday themed cities you might want to consider as well. Any suggestions?

Are you ready? Your mailbox is soon to be filled with incoming holiday cards in all colors, shapes and sizes. After you have opened, read and enjoyed each of them, consider this:
Before you toss the envelope the card came in, compare the return address to the one you have on file. Now is the perfect time to update your contact information. You may also want to write this address on the back of the card itself so you can refresh your addresses later, after the holiday rush is done if you prefer.
Many enjoy displaying their holiday cards throughout the office or at home. Tape them to your office door or cubicle for all to see and enjoy. Or make a mobile, hanging them from above to spin and delight without taking up valuable workspace.

At home, line them up on your mantel and sprinkle them around on coffee tables and sideboards. You can pin them to a strip of wide ribbon and hang them on the wall or even punch a hole in the corner and display them on the tree. Holiday cards are fun, colorful and interesting, adding a taste of the season throughout the house. Photo cards are especially fun. Friends that don’t even know those pictured will enjoy viewing them.

Many cards are richly illustrated and would look lovely framed and displayed throughout the year. And make sure you save your Christmas cards at the end of the season. In January I’ll share craft ideas so that you can repurpose these cards for enjoyment next year!
Do you have a unique craft idea to share? Let us know. We’d love to include you in our after-season craft blog.

Kellan Lutz plays Emmett Cullen, big brother of vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) in the movie, Twilight. A participating celebrity in our Cards for a Cause holiday card charity campaign, Kellan signed the back of his chosen card design with proceeds from the sale of it going to his selected charity, the Royal Family Kids’ Camp.
This is the card design he chose:

In November 2008, before the movie released, Kellan confessed in an interview his interests in autographs. “His autograph is elaborate, with each letter fully formed,” said the article. “I like signatures,” confessed Lutz. “I remember growing up just having fun doing it for no reason. I liked practicing.”
Back then he would actually spell out his name, “unlike Robert Pattinson who takes a shortcut by just signing his initials,” claims the article. But Lutz did admit that he knew he’d be doing conventions and events eventually which would require him to sign a minimum of 600 and “wow, it took me an hour to do 50. So I might have to get creative.”
Well, I kinda like his autograph! Take a look at it here and see what you think!
