Inaugural CardsDirect Card Recycling & Reuse Program a Success
Tag: CardsDirectWhat a response! Our greeting card recycling program was a huge success! People from all over the country sent us their unused cards to donate to charities that might use them.
Our mail room was packed to the gills with boxes of unused cards that can be re-purposed, as well as lots of cards that we were able to recycle. (What was Ms. Cards Etiquette thinking when she chose to wear heels on the day we had to move all of those cards…!?)
We are definitely going to do this next year, and since we’ve had such a huge demand for “green cards”, we’re even looking to expand our card selection to give our consumers a choice of having their cards made from recycled paper.
Shortly, we will be going through these cards and deciding which non profit organizations will receive the cards.
